1. About Ride
Ride is a motorcycle and bike ride-sharing coordination platform. It allows registered users ("Riders") to create, discover, and join group or solo rides. Ride does not operate any vehicles, employ any drivers, or provide transportation services.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age to register and use Ride.
- You must hold a valid driving licence applicable to the vehicle you intend to ride.
- You must own or have lawful permission to use the motorcycle or bike you register.
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
3. User Accounts
Accounts are created using your mobile phone number, verified via OTP. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Do not share your OTP or account credentials with any third party.
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
- One person may hold only one active account.
- Ride reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Creating & Joining Rides
Ride Creators are responsible for the accuracy of all ride listing details. Participants who join a ride acknowledge that:
- Participation is voluntary and entirely at their own risk.
- Their vehicle must be roadworthy, insured, and legally registered.
- They must comply with all applicable traffic laws and road safety regulations.
- Ride is not liable for any accident, injury, loss, or damage arising from participation.
5. Bikes & Vehicle Information
Users may register motorcycles or bikes by providing bike name, model, and engine displacement (CC). You warrant that the vehicle information is accurate and belongs to you.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Create fraudulent, misleading, or duplicate ride listings.
- Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users.
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
- Post offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content.
- Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the platform.
- Impersonate another person or entity.
7. Safety & Liability Disclaimer
Motorcycling carries inherent risks. Ride strongly encourages all users to wear appropriate safety gear and obey traffic laws.
Ride, its owners, employees, and agents are not liable for any personal injury, death, property damage, or financial loss arising from any ride coordinated through the platform. All users participate entirely at their own risk.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Ride platform — including the name, logo, design, and software — is the property of Ride and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
9. Third-Party Services
Ride may display or link to Google Maps and other third-party services. Use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
10. Modifications to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of Ride after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in India.
